The Kingdom East School District, Student Services, is seeking two full‑time Intensive Instructional Assistants (IIA) who are energetic and love working and playing with children. The IIA position’s purpose is to develop and interpret the individual needs of students with disabilities by helping to create and implement behavior and/or instructional support programs in consultation with the special educator and teachers. The assignment will be at the Burke Town School and is based on student needs.

The IIA provides observable data that meet the IEP Program or EST goals of students with disabilities and targets goal‑directive services to assist students in accessing instruction in a developmentally appropriate, functional, and independent manner. Candidates must successfully complete the Para Pro assessment or hold a higher degree. Background check, including fingerprinting, is required upon employment. The pay range for this position is $20.85/hr to $26.96/hr.
