Special Education Teacher | Enosburg Falls, Vermont

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the  school year, supporting K-12 students in a dynamic school environment near Enosburg Falls, VT. This is a contract position that offers the chance to work collaboratively within a supportive team, developing individualized education plans and helping students reach their fullest potential.

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with students in K-12 educational settings
• Strong skills in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, collaborative school setting

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students individual goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and other support staff
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide updates to families and team members
• Use creative and evidence-based strategies to support student success
• Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment
• Support students in achieving academic, behavioral, and social-emotional objectives
