Gifford is seeking a Teacher Assistant to join our Child Enrichment Center in Randolph, VT. The Teacher Assistant is responsible for ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of children in our care. This position will assist in the implementation of developmentally appropriate activities, and provide positive guidance and redirection as needed in a play-based care and learning environment. High School diploma or equivalent, and Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level One or Two, preferred;

successful completion of the 45-hour Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals course; or successful completion of a three-credit college course in child or human development related to school age care and education. Must be at least 18 years of age. At least 12-months of experience working with groups of children from third grade and younger.
