The Lincoln School District is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and student-centered Art Teacher (.30 FTE) to join our dedicated team for the  school year. This is a one-year, part-time position serving students in our vibrant PreK-6 community school nested in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont.

The anticipated schedule is approximately one and one-half days per week. The district is flexible regarding the work schedule, allowing us to collaborate with the successful candidate to develop a schedule that best meets both the needs of our students and the candidate.

We are looking for an educator who believes in the power of the arts to inspire creativity, build confidence, and foster meaningful connections within the school community. The successful candidate will create an engaging and inclusive art program that encourages exploration, artistic expression, and a lifelong appreciation for the visual arts.

• Plan and deliver engaging standards-based art instruction for elementary students.
• Foster creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression through a variety of media and techniques.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Maintain a positive, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide initiatives and student success.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and learning.

Salary: $16,860 to $38,880 Per Year

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Holds or is eligible to obtain a Vermont Educator License through the Vermont Agency of Education with an Art endorsement.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an educational setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, equitable, and supportive learning environment.
• At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
