Job Description Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union (OSSU) is seeking to combine two part-time Special Education positions for the School Year. OSSU is seeking an innovative, enthusiastic, and collaborative professional to join us. Applicants must hold both an Early Childhood Special Educator endorsement and a Special Education Grades K-Age 21 endorsement. The terms of this position are for one year only for the Special Education (Grades K-Age 21) portion of the position.
We are seeking professionals with demonstrated leadership, organization, and problem-solving expertise who share our passion for an integrated special education service delivery model within a multi-tiered system of support. The ideal candidates will demonstrate experience working with general education teachers to facilitate universally designed lessons, knowledge of special education rules and regulations, and a solid ability to integrate a variety of assessment information to support students.

Job Requirements- Demonstrated skill and experience in working with students with disabilities are required. License requirements are listed in the Job Description Section. 2+ years of experience in related fields. Reliable transportation to report to partner locations and area home visits, and between OSSU schools. Required attendance at New Staff Orientation on August 17-19, 2026.
