University Professor
Vermont State University is seeking a part time instructor in theater for the Lyndon campus. Responsibilities will include Teaching THA 2002 Theater Production (fall semesters) and MUS 2002 Musical Theater Production (spring semesters). As part of this course work, they will direct the fall play and the spring musical in connection with the Twilight Players. Other responsibilities include engaging with and mentoring students;
keeping regular office hours, being available to students for consultation; encouraging and allowing students the time in class to complete the student evaluation forms distributed electronically near the completion of your course(s).
- Experience working with college age students
- Experience directing straight plays and musical
- Ability to collaborate with a team
- Teach and direct THA 2002 Theater Production fall semester
- Teach and direct MUS 2002 Musical Theater Production in the spring semester
- Collaborate with the Twilight Players on these productions
- Hold regular office hours and mentor students
- MA in Theater or equivalent experience
- Scheduled Hours Weekly: 0
- Budgeted Wage for this Position: $1648.00 per credit
