Nestled in the foothills of Vermont’s Green Mountains, Cabot School is one of only a handful of Pre-K-12 community schools remaining in the state. Job Requirements
  • Program Details
  • Programs run on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. We provide programming in three sessions; fall, winter and spring. An after school program calendar will be provided. We do not run programs when school is not in session.
  • Programs are designed for grades 1-6. Specific grade levels can be tailored to each program.
  • Programs run from 3:00-5:00pm. This includes a short snack, games, and selected program.
  • Full stipend amount of $50 per completed daily program to be paid by a stipend at the end of each program session. Weekly timesheets will be submitted.
  • Qualifications
  • Be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience working with kids in grades 1-6
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Energy, adaptability and patience a must
  • If new to Caledonia Central Supervisory Union - Must complete all required background/criminal checks and proper hiring paperwork

  • Indoor/outdoor environment subject to changing temperatures exceeding
  • Regular exposures to fumes, dust, odors, heights, and loud noises. Work in direct contact with the public, students, and other District staff.

  • Move and set up heavy materials and equipment and other equipment and materials.
  • Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Reaching overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing 20 pounds or more.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate specialized hand and power tools and equipment and to drive.
  • Verbal, auditory, and written capabilities to effectively communicate
