Danville School is looking for a long-term substitute PE teacher for grades Pre-K through 6th. This position is expected to begin on November 1 and end on February 1.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging and effective lessons that meet the diverse needs of our students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Utilize PBIS strategies to promote positive behavior and enhance the social-emotional well-being of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to involve them in their child's education.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education.
- Valid Vermont teaching license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience with PBIS and social-emotional learning strategies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
