Danville School is looking for a long-term substitute PE teacher for grades Pre-K through 6th. This position is expected to begin on November 1 and end on February 1.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging and effective lessons that meet the diverse needs of our students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Utilize PBIS strategies to promote positive behavior and enhance the social-emotional well-being of students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to involve them in their child's education.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education.
  • Valid Vermont teaching license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Experience with PBIS and social-emotional learning strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
