Job DescriptionMount Mansfield Union High School is seeking a full-time special education para educator. Paraeducators are responsible for supporting students, special educators and classroom teachers within the regular school setting. The position involves performing a variety of supportive activities with a diverse population of students.
Qualified candidates should enjoy working with and engaging with students, have the ability to communicate effectively and work independently. Candidates must be reliable, have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand and/or walk for extended periods of time to support students. Other responsibilities include: assisting with implementing modifications, accommodations and services; working with students to reinforce learning of material and skills introduced by the teacher;
assist in data collection; and have fun helping students recognize their true potential.
