The Middlebury College School of Hebrew is pleased to announce avacancy for a temporary Teacher Assistant. The position is available for the summer 2021 session, located on the Middlebury College campus in Middlebury, Vermont. Our programs combine acultural immersion environment with rigorous daily classroom instruction. This is a unique opportunity to join and work with acommunity of Hebrew learners and instructors both inside and outside the classroom.

We are looking for a Teacher's Assistant with demonstrated excellence in Modern Hebrew with the ability to lead co-curricular activities that are an integral part of the language curriculum.

• 20 hours of work per week
• Assisting instructors with homework sessions and tutoringstudents 1-on-1 or in small groups
• Assisting instructors with daily office hours (consulting with students and faculty about course content, homework, etc.)
• Assisting students with library and/or technological resources
• Attending school-specific events, meals, and other specifiedactivities
• Working cooperatively with others and accepting direction from supervisors
• Other duties as assigned

* In addition to salary, lodging and a complete meal plan will be provided.

The successful candidate should possess strong interpersonal skillsand demonstrated success working as a member of an instructionalteam. A candidate with a creative, dynamic, and easy-going approach will be an excellent fit for the Hebrew school.
