Job Description

Make a significant impact in student success by providing comprehensive psychological services across K-12 levels throughout multiple school buildings in a supportive district environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to foster healthy learning environments and support student well-being for the  academic year.

Key

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Vermont School Psychologist Certificate (required)
• Proven experience or training in K-12 educational settings
• Expertise in conducting psycho educational evaluations, behavioral assessments, and functional behavioral analyses
• Strong communication and consultation skills with teachers, students, and families
• Ability to work collaboratively across four school buildings
• Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in school communities

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting evaluations to identify students’ learning and behavioral needs
• Developing and monitoring individualized education plans in collaboration with educators and IEP teams
• Providing crisis intervention and support as needed
• Promoting social-emotional learning approaches school wide
• Offering counseling services and strategies to assist students in overcoming barriers to academic success
• Serving as a resource for staff development and parent education on psychological and behavioral topics

This full-time contract position spans the entire school year (August 26, 2026 – June 14, 2027) with a weekly commitment of 35–37.5 hours. You’ll work district-wide, making a district-level impact while gaining diverse experience across multiple grade levels and school buildings.
