- Develop inspection plans, control plans, and quality standards for manufacturing processes.
- Support manufacturing process validation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train employees on quality procedures, inspection techniques, and best practices.
- Act as a quality resource on the production floor and assist with resolving day-to-day manufacturing challenges.
- Support supplier qualification, evaluation, and performance monitoring activities.
- Work directly with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Review supplier quality data and drive improvements in incoming material quality.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 3-8 years of experience in a Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Quality Systems role.

- Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, process improvement, and statistical problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.
- Comfortable working in both office and production floor environments.
- Experience in electronics, LED lighting, power electronics, or electromechanical manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Experience with supplier quality management.
- Working knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), MSA, FMEA, and process validation.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or related certification.
The ideal candidate:
- Is highly hands-on and enjoys solving real-world manufacturing problems.
- Builds strong working relationships with engineering, production, and supply chain teams.
- Can balance tactical firefighting with long-term system improvement.
- Is data-driven and disciplined in problem-solving.
