Environmental Project Manager (USEPA Superfund Project)
Corinth, VT | 6–8 Week with the possibility for extension
Travelers are encouraged to apply! Eligible travelers will receive per diem.
Responsibilities- Manage USEPA Superfund project activities to ensure compliance with project scope, schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate field investigations, environmental sampling, remediation, and contractor activities.
- Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and HAZWOPER health and safety requirements.
- Prepare and review project plans, technical reports, and regulatory documentation.
- Communicate project status with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project risks, quality, and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting or managing USEPA Superfund, environmental remediation, or hazardous waste projects.
- Working knowledge of CERCLA, EPA regulations, and OSHA HAZWOPER requirements.
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Current 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification.
This is an active field position requiring daily oversight of construction activities.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Climb ladders and work at elevated heights.
- Enter confined spaces when necessary.
- Work on uneven terrain and active construction sites.
- Lift up to 30 pounds.
- Work outdoors in changing weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind.
$50 - $65 USD
