The Cosmetologist provides beauty services for guests by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performs manicures & pedicures according to licensing standards (may also assist with hair styling & makeup application for group events & weddings).
  • Interacts cooperatively with other spa team members to deliver a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintains a warm and professional persona towards guests and co‑workers.
Adheres to High Professional Image Standards
  • Dress, grooming & language.
  • Practices the highest standard of sanitation, neatness and visual presentations.
  • Maintains organized workstations.
  • Completes daily check lists of cleaning obligations and abides by all county, state, and local laws and regulations regarding sanitation, cleanliness and safety.
  • Adheres to work schedule and demonstrates good work ethics.
  • Maintains a positive and professional attitude.
Equipment Utilization
  • Pedicure stations, nail stations, implements and sanitation equipment.
  • When licensed to do so, may also perform additional treatments such as massage, facials, etc.
  • Varying work hours – must be available on weekends.
Special Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must have a valid State of Vermont Cosmetology License (Esthetician License could also be considered), with at least 12 months of practice in Vermont.
  • Past resort or hospitality experience is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary is based on a 30% commission & 18% gratuity on treatment services ranging from a combined $19.00 to $36.00 per base service.
  • Paid Sick Time.
  • 401(k) program eligibility with employer match after a year of employment with 1,000 hours of service.
