OrganizationUpper Valley Services (UVS) is one of Vermont’s designated non-profit agencies serving people with developmental disabilities and adults who are eligible for Adult Family Care.
PositionWe are seeking a Specialized Crisis Direct Support Professional to join our Collaborative Crisis Team. Provide personalized crisis stabilization supports to diverse individuals. Supports may include emotional regulation, positive behavior supports, public safety, personal care, and support to engage in home, recreational, and community activities.
Responsibilities- Provide personalized crisis stabilization supports to diverse individuals.
- Support emotional regulation and positive behavior supports.
- Assist with personal care and participation in home, recreational, and community activities.
- Collaborate with team to ensure safety and quality of care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities; crisis experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Willingness to work 24-hour shifts.
Candidates will undergo background checks, must have a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
