UVS is seeking a Job Coach to support individuals to be successful at their job, gain proficiency and independence, interact with colleagues and supervisors, and develop their careers. The job coach initially provides on-the-job support to individuals, then trains and provides oversight to direct support professionals who provide ongoing support.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and demeanor:

- B.A. or B.S. in related field, or equivalent, experience may be substituted for degree requirements plus one years’ experience in supported employment with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral health needs a plus. Willing to train the right individual.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Registered, inspected and insured vehicle to transport individuals
- Must be able to pass a background check
UVS is offering a generous sign on bonus!!
$500 at time of hire and another $500 upon successfully completing six months at UVS.
Thorough initial and ongoing training is provided!
