Spruce Mountain Inn is seeking a skilled, compassionate clinician to join our dynamic treatment team. This is a meaningful opportunity to support young adults as they navigate mental health challenges and build the skills needed for independence, resilience, and long-term stability. At Spruce, we provide a therapeutic environment from residential treatment to outpatient services (and everything in between) where residents can grow, heal, and step confidently into the next stage of their lives.
Our clinicians play a central role in that process.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy, and parent support, using evidence-based, trauma-informed modalities.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team and lead clinical discussions and planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all treatment, progress, and clinical interventions.
- Offer crisis support, safety planning, and stabilization when needed.
- Facilitate psycho educational, skills-based, and process groups that promote emotional regulation, healthy coping, and life skills.
- Model professionalism, healthy boundaries, and adaptive coping for residents.
- Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Licensed or license-eligible in Vermont (supervision available).
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and experience working with trauma-impacted populations.
- Ability to balance clinical work with active participation in team-based care.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine desire to support young adults and a commitment to ongoing growth and professional development.
