Position Summary
The Leader of Respiratory Therapy is responsible for operational oversight and day-to-day leadership of respiratory therapy services, including alignment of departmental operations with organizational goals and other clinical departments. Must plan, organize, and coordinate operations with those of other departments to support timely, efficient, and fiscally responsible respiratory services. This role is also responsible for ensuring safe and effective performance of respiratory therapy and related care.
QualificationsGraduate of a Commission on Accreditation of Respiratory Care (CoARC) approved School of Respiratory Therapy. Registered (RRT) or eligible by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRD). Current Vermont Respiratory Therapy license. Bachelor of Science Degree required. ACLS, PALS required. ACCS, CPFT/RPFT, NPS, AE-C, etc. recommended. Minimum of three years’ experience in all aspects of respiratory therapy services. Minimum two years of acute care experience.
