Gifford is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist that can work in our Rehabilitation Department. The Occupational Therapist will need to be able to work independently as well as be part of a larger hospital‑based team.

The role of this position will primarily be in our acute care/swing bed setting. Experience in workplace and workstation ergonomics is a plus. This position will select evaluation methods appropriate to the diagnosis, age group and patients physical and emotional status and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

Your teammates include experienced and dedicated PTs, OTs, and an ST with many specialized areas of interest. We encourage and will support those who wish to pursue a current discipline of interest or develop specific skills in conjunction with the needs of the department.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, decision making abilities and attention to detail. Strong time management skills along with being an active team member, and a strong orientation toward patient‑centered treatment are essential.
