Boothby Therapy Services is actively hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) throughout Vermont for the 2026–2027 school year.

We partner with school districts across the state and have opportunities available serving:

Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary by placement but may include:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services in school-based settings
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions
  • Support students with:
    • Articulation and phonological disorders
    • Receptive and expressive language disorders
    • Social/pragmatic communication
    • Fluency disorders
    • Voice disorders
    • AAC and assistive communication needs
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse age groups and developmental levels
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation
  • Support students in achieving greater communication, independence, and educational success
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP/CFY)
  • Active Vermont SLP License or eligibility
  • School-based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred but not required
