Overview
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Preschool (PK) focused roles with multiple school-based openings across Vermont. Full-time opportunities with $50–$60 per hour plus a guaranteed pay model and a $10K sign-on bonus. CCC-SLPs and Clinical Fellows welcome.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities vary by placement but may include:
- Provide speech-language therapy services in school-based settings
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions
- Support students with articulation/phonological, receptive/expressive language, social/pragmatic communication, fluency, voice disorders, and AAC/assistive communication needs
- Adapt therapy approaches for diverse age groups and developmental levels
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation
- Support students in achieving greater communication, independence, and educational success
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP/CFY)
- Active Vermont SLP License or eligibility
- School-based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
$50–$60 per hour with guaranteed pay. You are paid for your scheduled time even when students are absent, sessions are canceled, field trips occur, or schedules change.
