Vermont Learning Collaborative (VTLC) is a dynamic non‑profit agency serving southeastern Vermont. We offer programs and district services to support students and families.

• Complete functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavior observations in school‑based and home settings.
• Develop individualized behavior plans.
• Complete skills‑based assessments (e.g., VB‑MAPP, ABLLS, AFLS).
• Contribute to IEP development and complete progress reports as scheduled.
• Provide IEP‑based services and general classroom or programmatic consultation.
• Demonstrate safety‑care procedures and support de‑escalation and behavior management.
• Support staff by modeling behavioral strategies through direct interaction with students.
• Create plans tailored to the student’s age, needs, disabilities, social skills, and developmental level.
• Manage data collection: design data sheets, oversee methods, analyze data, and train staff.
• Conduct staff training and lead professional development.
• Provide ongoing supervision of registered behavior technicians (RBTs).
• Collaborate on an interdisciplinary team (SLPs, OTs, PTs, teachers, clinicians, support staff, RBTs, leaders, community partners) to implement behavior plans and strategies.
• Maintain current training in evidence‑based practices.
• Adhere to laws, policies, procedures, and ethical standards of the field, creating a positive and safe learning environment.
• Implement programming that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion for all school community members.
• Perform additional duties as requested.

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Special Education.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification;
  Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience with elementary and middle school students having moderate to intensive needs.
• Experience with therapeutic supports for students’ social, emotional, and behavioral skills.
• Evidence of completing 8‑hour supervision requirements (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Flexible and creative, responsive to changing agency needs.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between locations during the workday.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
