Independent Optometrist — In-Store Practice Leader

Position Summary

Independent Optometrist leasing space inside Walmart stores. Lead patient care, eye and vision services, and general health and wellbeing.

• Establish days of practice
• Establish hours of operation
• Control patient schedule and set fee schedule
• Keep 100% of exam/professional fees

Optionally, for fair market value, opt into:

• Equipment instrumentation
• Administrative and/or Opt‑Tech support services (if state allows)

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
• Valid state optometry license
• Ophthalmologist MD or DO from an accredited school
• Valid state ophthalmology license
• General Liability Certificate
• Professional Liability Insurance Certificate

Optional additional qualifications (if any) may include:

• Experience with Walmart store operations
• Advanced vision technology certifications
