Location: Waitsfield

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting learners in a vibrant school community. Two unique opportunities are available: a maternity leave position from August 19, 2026, to October 31, 2026, and a part-time assignment running from August 19, 2026, to July 14, 2027. Both roles offer the chance to deliver impactful services in an engaging educational environment.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology (SLP)
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • State licensure (or eligibility) for Vermont
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for supporting K-12 populations
  • Passion for helping students achieve communication goals and succeed academically
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to K-12 students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
  • Complete evaluations, maintain documentation, and participate in meetings as required
  • Focus solely on contracted responsibilities—no bus duty, parent pickup, or other extra-district tasks
