Job Description- DESCRIPTION –
- Participate as a member of educational teams to design, implement and ensure fidelity of Tier 1, 2, and 3 supports and universal ABA interventions within the classroom and school.
- Manage data collection systems for Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and ongoing progress monitoring.
- ABA data analysis, including summarizing data in multiple formats (i.e. graphs, charts, and narratives) and communicating what the data shows.
- Maintain organization of records and efficient communication with the BCBA and other team members to support the FBA process and progress monitoring.
- Conduct records reviews, as well as indirect and direct observations as requested by the BCBA for the FBA process.
- Collaborate on developing positive behavior intervention plans based on FBA results.
- Support coaching and training needs for staff implementation of PBIS Tier 1, 2, and 3 supports, Behavior Intervention Plans, and data collection.
- Communicate with and engage parents in the implementation of behavioral interventions as appropriate.
- Work directly with students and staff, as necessary, to attain fidelity of PBIS strategies and behavior plans across the school milieu.
- Provide direct instruction to students in social skills, self regulation strategies.
- Attend and actively participate in scheduled team meetings
- Support the value of education and the vision and mission of the District.
- Adhere to District policies and regulations.
- Perform such other tasks and assume other responsibilities as the supervisor may assign.

Job Requirements- QUALIFICATIONS –
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (min of an Associate’s Degree) in Behavioral Science area such as Psychology or related field.
• Holds or is willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician credential.
• Holds or is willing to obtain Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) certification.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with the BCBA and other team members, as well as receive supervision and guidance from the BCBA
• Experience in applying restorative practices when working with children, families, and staff
• A strong understanding of PBIS and the function of following the Tier 1, 2, and 3 interventions hierarchy.
• Versed in applying applied behavior analysis strategies to increase productive and helpful behaviors across the school community.
• Foundational knowledge in analyzing behavior functions, identifying function based interventions, implementing behavior plans with fidelity, maintaining data collection, and employing data analysis to evaluate intervention effectiveness.
• Comfort with providing skills coaching to staff and families on trauma and restorative informed, behavior change strategies rooted in principles of applied behavior analysis.
• Willingness to be flexible, has a growth mindset, shows an appreciation for the insight fellow team members have to offer, and respects the expertise of other disciplines. - Associate degree preferred.
