Speech Language Pathologist in Jericho, VT

Step into a rewarding part-time opportunity supporting young learners in a collaborative and nurturing school environment near Jericho, VT. This contract role focuses on serving students from preschool through 4th grade in a small, close-knit academic community. Providing speech and language therapy for a manageable caseload of 15 students, you’ll have a meaningful impact on student growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Active SLP license (CCC or CFY) or SLPA with school-based experience preferred
• Open to Clinical Fellows and SLPAs (supervision will be provided for qualifying candidates)
• Experience or enthusiasm for working with children ages 3 to 10
• Skilled in conducting assessments, designing and implementing individualized intervention plans, and collaborating with educational teams
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Role Highlights:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to a dedicated group of elementary and preschool students
• Engage with a single site, cultivating relationships within a small school community
• Manage a balanced caseload, with some students receiving services five days a week
• Participate in in-service activities beginning August 21st, with students returning on August 26th
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize educational outcomes
• Take part in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and data-driven decision making
