Role Overview
Serve as a first responder providing medical care to civilians after disasters and supporting Soldiers' health needs both on and off the battlefield.
Key Responsibilities- Administer emergency medical treatment to casualties and assist with outpatient and inpatient care.
- Instruct Soldiers in Combat Lifesaver/First Responder courses.
- Manage medical readiness, supplies, and equipment.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and caring nature. Interest in science and ability to work under stress. Certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians is required.
Training & Career Development10 weeks of Basic Training and 16 weeks of Advanced Individual Training in patient care, with opportunities to learn advanced medical techniques.
