Ultrasound Technologist Position

My client, a community hospital in middle Vermont, is looking for an Ultrasound Technologist.

This is a full-time, permanent position with comprehensive benefits. They have multiple shifts available.

Responsibilities:

• Works under the supervision, provider, or department leadership
• Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and procedures.
• Recognizes cross-sectional anatomy.
• Provides excellent customer service and complies with hospital policies and procedures.
• Properly records patient exams and patient results.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduated from an accredited ultrasound program
• Prior experience or training in general abdomen ultrasound, OB/GYN, pelvic, transvaginal, breast, carotid/venous studies, and small parts
• ARDMS certified or ARDMS eligible (must become certified within first year of employment), and must be scheduled to take or have already passed the ARDMS Sonography Principles and Instrumentation Exam
• BLS Certification
