Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to perform radiographs as requested by physicians.
• Adjust technical factors as needed based on patient and body part being examined while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Follow radiation safety practices and assume temporary responsibility for the patient during x-ray procedures.
• Operate portable equipment and C-arm, transport patients, and utilize the hospital computer system and PACS system.
• Address the psycho-social needs of patients being served.
