Travel Certified Surgical Technologist

Days, Monday - Friday with potential call.

Job Description:

Join our Perioperative Services team as a Travel Certified Surgical Technologist and trade the city traffic for mountain views while building your surgical experience in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Work alongside experienced surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and surgical staff to provide exceptional care in a community-focused critical access hospital. As a vital member of the surgical team, you will contribute to delivering safe and compassionate care before, during, and after surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operative procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies to ensure readiness for scheduled procedures.
• Support perioperative patient care, including patient transport, positioning, specimen management, and documentation.
• Participate in on-call coverage and be prepared to scrub urgent or emergent procedures within required response times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
• Current BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Previous operating room experience.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative procedures.
• Ability to participate in call coverage and respond within required time frames.
