Job Summary:

Providing specialized outpatient physical therapy services, the therapist assesses and treats patients with various musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions. The role involves delivering personalized care through manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients to determine treatment plans based on individual diagnoses and needs.
• Implement manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to restore function and mobility.
• Document patient progress, modify treatment plans accordingly, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, disease management, and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including updating patient records and treatment notes.
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and resetting appointments to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Possess 2 years of current outpatient physical therapy experience; new graduates are not considered.
• Demonstrate proficiency with CPSI EMR or similar electronic medical records systems.
• Be flexible to work in inpatient settings as needed.
• Have previous experience working with PTAs and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams.
• Be capable of treating diverse outpatient diagnoses, including post-op, joint replacement, and balance issues.
