- Echocardiology Technologist – Diagnostic Imaging*

* Schedule:
** Monday - Friday, four 8-hour day shifts per week.
** Assignment Details:
** Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed
Hours:
32
** Requirements:** - Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI required.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Minimum one year of echocardiography experience required.
- Travel experience required.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology, Doppler principles, and echo cardiographic imaging techniques.
** Roles & Responsibilities:** - Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms, limited studies, contrast studies, and bubble studies according to departmental protocols and professional standards.
- Produce accurate cardiac measurements and diagnostic-quality images for interpretation while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process.
- Utilize clinical judgment to evaluate patient history, optimize imaging, recognize significant abnormalities, and communicate urgent findings as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support efficient patient care across various settings.
