Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance
• Must be licensed in the state
• Valid Driver's License and agency-level auto insurance

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide treatment to patients as prescribed by a physician and based on the established evaluation of their rehabilitation needs.
• Administer therapies to relieve pain and develop or restore function using various physical means, including exercise and modalities.
• Assist patients with active and passive exercises, functional training, and activities of daily living.
• Observe, record, and report to the supervising Physical Therapist the patient's reactions and changes in condition.
• Educate patients and caregivers on self-care techniques and recovery activities.
• Complete and submit accurate clinical notes and required documentation in a timely manner.
