Responsibilities of Physical Therapist include:

Clinical assessment and treatment of patients referred by a licensed physician.
Coordinate and communicate treatment activities with health care team members and the patient.
Supervise Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) and contribute to the professional development of new staff and health professional students.
Evaluate patient’s needs for physical therapy and develop appropriate treatment plan.
Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy, and professional standards of care.
Instruct family members, PTA’s, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
Coordinate physical therapy progress with other caregivers and ensure appropriate physical therapy techniques.
Refer patients to other professionals or agencies when appropriate.

Qualifications of Physical Therapist include:

Must possess an active PT license or be license eligible in both VT and NH.

Serving towns of:
Bradford, Topsham, Newbury, Chelsea, VT and Haverhill, Piermont, Orford, Lyme, NH and more....

Education Required

Bachelors or better.

Experience Preferred

One year of experience as a physical therapist in a hospital, clinic or home health agency. Two years of acute care preferred.
