This contract role spans the full academic year, providing vital support to students and collaborating closely with educators and families across the district.
Your experience and expertise as a school psychologist will help nurture the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students in multiple schools. With a full-time schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week, you'll play a key part in fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments and ensuring every child can reach their full potential.
Required Qualifications:- Hold a valid Vermont School Psychologist Certificate
- Background in K-12 school environments
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of age groups and school buildings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills
- Proficiency in developing and implementing intervention plans and IEPs
- Deliver comprehensive school psychological services across four district schools
- Conduct psycho educational assessments, interpret results, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Support students, staff, and families through consultation and crisis intervention
- Develop, monitor, and help implement behavior plans and individualized education plans
- Provide direct counseling and facilitate group interventions as needed
- Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
Contract period runs from August 26, 2026 through June 14, 2027, ensuring a meaningful, sustained impact throughout the school year.
