This position requires recent, hands-on Obstetrical (OB) ultrasound experience.
Candidates must be able to independently perform 2nd- and 3rd-trimester OB imaging.
Travelers without demonstrated OB ultrasound experience and the ability to perform 2nd and 3rd trimester scans independently will not be considered.
The Diagnostic Imaging Department is seeking an experienced General Ultrasound Sonographer to join a collaborative this role, you will perform a variety of ultrasound examinations and work closely with a physician team to provide exceptional patient care.
This facility provides outpatient, inpatient, and emergency imaging services to patients of all ages.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program is required.
Current ARDMS certification is required.
Current RVT certification is required.
Recent OB ultrasound experience is required.
Must be proficient in 2nd and 3rd trimester OB ultrasound imaging.
Ability to independently perform fetal anatomy, growth, and biophysical profile examinations.
Ability to independently perform general ultrasound examinations.
Important:
This facility is located in a rural area, approximately two hours from the nearest major airport.
Public transportation is not available, and there are no local taxi services or ride-share options.
A dependable personal vehicle is required for the duration of this assignment.
Housing is not provided.
