School Psychologist - Springfield, VT

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing critical psychological services across a district setting. This district-wide assignment supports K-12 students across four buildings, giving you the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and dynamic educational team. You'll engage in both assessment and intervention to foster students' academic, social, and emotional growth throughout the school year.

Key

Qualifications:

• Valid Vermont School Psychologist Certificate required
• Experience working with K-12 populations preferred
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Prior school-based experience highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret assessment results
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students individual needs
• Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs and behavioral intervention plans
• Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services as needed
• Support positive school culture and promote mental health awareness throughout the district

Additional Details:

• Full-time contract: 35-37.5 hours per week
• Assignment dates:
  August 26th, 2026 to June 14th, 2027
• Engage with multiple school communities within the district (K-12, four buildings)
