The Clinical Programs Implementation Coordinator is responsible for leading the statewide rollout and support of pharmacist Test & Treat services across Vermont pharmacy locations. This position works closely with pharmacy teams, operations leadership, clinical leadership, and external partners to ensure successful implementation of testing and treatment programs. The coordinator provides onsite training, workflow optimization, compliance oversight, quality monitoring, and ongoing operational support to drive service adoption, patient access, and clinical excellence.
Beyond Test and Treat services, this clinical program implementation coordinator will assist with future clinical program roll outs.
Scope of Responsibilities:
The Clinical Programs Implementation Coordinator is responsible for the implementation, operational support, and ongoing optimization of pharmacist-led Test & Treat services throughout Vermont. This role serves as the primary field-based resource for pharmacies implementing testing and treatment services for influenza, Group A Streptococcus (strep), and COVID-19 under Vermont's pharmacist prescribing authority. Responsibilities span four key areas:
Program Implementation, Store Onboarding & Training, Operational Support & Compliance, and Quality Improvement. They also will be responsible for assisting with Medical Billing and Clinical Services Reimbursement, in addition to Contracting and Credentialing.
Travel:
Extensive travel required throughout Vermont. Frequent onsite visits to pharmacy locations required for program implementation, training, workflow support, provider onboarding, payor contracting and negotiations, and quality assurance activities. Attendance at various Kinney business meetings, payer meetings, conferences may be required.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required
Pharmacy Technician, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related healthcare field preferred
Equivalent combination of education and healthcare experience may be considered
Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout Vermont required
Experience Preferred:
Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in pharmacy operations, healthcare program implementation, clinical services, care coordination, or related healthcare field
Experience providing training, workflow optimization, project management, or operational support preferred
Experience in community pharmacy, ambulatory care, clinical services, or healthcare program deployment strongly preferred
Special Conditions of Employment:
Drug Test Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Ability to travel extensively throughout Vermont, including overnight travel as needed
