Hiring:
Private Duty Nurse / Caregiver (LPN, RN, or PAB with Bill 90)

We are looking for a compassionate, highly attentive, and experienced care professional to provide comprehensive, full-time support for an individual living with paralysis and diabetes in a private home setting.

Locations:
Downtown Montreal (Sherbrooke West) & Alburgh, Vermont (US)

Schedule:

Unique 24-hour shift every fourth day (includes on-site sleeping/weekend rotation)

Key Requirements:

Credentials:
Licensed LPN, RN, or certified PAB with active Bill 90.
Specialized Care:
Hands-on experience with paralysis/quad or paraplegic care. Experience with colostomy bags and suprapubic catheters strongly preferred.
Travel:
Canadian PR or Citizenship, valid passport, and ability to travel to Vermont for up to a week at a time.
Driver's Licence:
Valid driver's licence required.
Language:
Full fluency in English.

Core Responsibilities:

Clinical Care:
Dexcom CGM tracking, insulin administration, carb counting, blood pressure monitoring, and wound/skin care.
Mobility Support:
Hoyer lift transfers, wheelchair/in-bed repositioning to prevent pressure sores, and daily personal hygiene.
Daily Living:
Meal planning/prep, light housekeeping, and coordinating social outings.
