Snowmakers are responsible for safely and efficiently operating snow making equipment. Snowmakers must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions. Snow making is a physically demanding job. Snow is expected to be made whenever temperatures allow, many snow making shifts will occur overnight. Full-time seasonal positions available. The starting wage for this position is $23.00/hr, higher wages based on experience.

Recruitment for this role will be ongoing through December.

• Pre-season preparation (brush cutting, snow gun and pipeline installation and snow gun setup)
• Safe and efficient operation of snow making equipment to produce the quality snow that Stratton guests expect
• Complete maintenance on snow making equipment
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Work with minimal supervision
• Assist other departments and fill in as needed
• Follow all company safety policies
• Additional duties as required

• High School Diploma, or equivalent, required
• Must be 18+ years of age
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds
• Ability to work in all winter conditions, including snow, rain, wind, ice
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include 12 hour &/or overnight shifts
• Previous snow making experience, preferred
• Previous experience operating snowmobiles, preferred

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
