Banquet Server

Essex Resort seeks a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service for weddings, meetings, and special events at our premier culinary resort in Essex Junction, VT. In this role, you will set up and break down banquet spaces, serve plated and buffet meals, and provide attentive, polished service that reflects our commitment to hospitality and culinary excellence. You'll work closely with our culinary and events teams, support seamless event execution, and create memorable experiences for guests in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms, tables, linens, and service stations according to event specifications
• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive food and beverage service throughout events
• Coordinate with culinary and event teams to ensure timely and accurate course delivery
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in all service areas
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve minor issues with professionalism
• Follow cash-handling or POS procedures when required for bar or add-on services
• Support team members during peak periods to ensure seamless event execution
• Adhere to resort service standards and appearance guidelines
