For a full listing of employee perks both on and off-property, SUMMARY The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for being the lead point of contact for office visitors, answering and directing phone calls and executing clerical office duties. This position is also responsible for coordinating employee events and perks and assisting employees and team members through the full onboarding process by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)
Answers phone and directs calls accordingly, answering questions of callers whenever possible.

Digitally files all incoming documents relating to the HR department, including International file retention.

Assists applicants with online application process. Answers basic questions of applicants to include open positions, status of application, and status of open positions. Updates hiring software statuses as hires move thorough the onboarding process.

Provides job applications, background check disclosures MVR forms and hiring paperwork to applicants. Assists with completion.

Processes background checks and MVRs.Creates Move Up Cards.

Processes employee referrals.

Coordinates employee events in conjunction with the HR Engagement Specialist. Key tasks to include: ordering product, contacting vendors, tracking event attendance and participation, attending employee events, etc)
Assists HRIS Specialist with hiring and processing during peak times and as needed.

Accepts and makes copies of employee identification for I-9 purposes. Files, audits and maintains I9s in compliance with USCIS standards.

Supports all HR team members with tasks as needed.

Ensures office is stocked with general supplies and HR materials.

Other duties as assigned, which could be directly related, or unrelated to original position.
