- Partner with data science leadership, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to build optimization and machine learning models using modern tools and platforms.
- Lead within a product team by providing insights, technical guidance, and strategic recommendations.
- Develop and maintain causal measurement strategies including MMM, Difference-in-Differences, Regression Discontinuity, and causal ML.
- Conduct deep statistical and econometric analysis to evaluate marketing effectiveness and guide budget allocation.
- Translate complex model outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for marketing, finance, and leadership teams.
- Design and execute A/B testing strategies for marketing campaigns.
- Advise business partners on technical solutions and measurement strategies.
- Contribute to team strategy, best practices, and mentoring of junior data scientists.
- Monitor and improve model performance based on business feedback.
- Engage with the broader data science team for collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in strategic planning, documentation, and technical standards development.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a coding data scientist.
- 4+ years of experience building MMM and attribution models.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Math, Stats, Data Science, Econ, etc.).
- Advanced SQL and Python skills.
- Strong background in causal modeling (DAGs, falsification, regression), Bayesian modeling (PyMC), MMM frameworks (Robyn, Meridian), and ensemble methods (XGBoost).
- Experience working with large datasets and writing complex queries.
- Proven ability to influence marketing decisions through data.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and time management.
- Experience with cloud-based AI platforms.
- Experience in a marketing analytics agency or consulting environment.
