ALE Technical Consultant General Characteristics

Tallahassee, Orlando, Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa

This role involves providing the highest level of technical expertise and consulting on SAP Basis or SAP Web Application Server systems. The individual will establish infrastructure standards, evaluate system enhancements, and ensure quality assurance. The role also encompasses research and implementation of solutions for performance monitoring, tuning, and systems configuration, design, and implementation.

• Deliver expert consulting on SAP Basis or SAP Web Application Server systems to process teams and IT staff.
• Establish infrastructure standards and requirements for SAP systems.
• Evaluate, direct, and support system enhancements for SAP Basis and Web Application Server.
• Perform quality assurance functions for SAP systems.
• Research and implement solutions for system performance monitoring and tuning.
• Design and implement systems configuration for SAP functionalities.
• Provide technical engineering support to the SAP team.
• Act as a project leader or subject matter expert on projects/issues of medium to high complexity.
• Coach and mentor junior technical staff.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of IT work experience in building enterprise applications.
• At least 2 years of experience with SAP systems.
• Extensive experience in operating systems and programming languages, such as ABAP, Java, and J2EE.
• Demonstrated knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments.
