Innovate! Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its geospatial solutions team as a Geospatial UI/UX and Visualization Analyst . You may be called upon to assist with the design, development, and maintenance of geospatial applications through the concept, design, and implementation phases. Your role will also include supporting other personnel in utilizing GIS applications and software as well as interfacing with clients and teaming partners.

Salary Range: $90000-$120000 annually

RESPONSIBILITIES- Design and develop interactive geospatial web applications, integrating dynamic mapping, dashboards, and data visualizations using modern frameworks such as React, ArcGIS JavaScript API, and Plotly/D3.
- Create engaging and user-centered wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, and related design tools to support GIS and data analysis platforms.
- Translate user stories, project goals, and stakeholder input into intuitive UI/UX experiences with a focus on usability and accessibility.
- Build and maintain dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, ArcGIS Dashboards, and ArcGIS Insights for data storytelling and business intelligence.
- Conduct front-end development with JavaScript, Type Script, CSS/SCSS, and Material Design patterns, supporting branded, responsive web interfaces.
- Implement geospatial analysis workflows and ETL processes using Python, Arc Py, Pandas, and Geopandas to support data integration and reporting.
- Support client engagements by presenting design concepts, prototypes, and live tools; incorporate feedback to iteratively improve visual tools and interfaces.
- Prepare technical documentation, metadata, and visual storytelling materials to enhance communication and project transparency.
- Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to design tools that visualize environmental, tribal, broadband, or public policy data in clear and effective ways..
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 3–6 years of hands-on GIS development experience, with a strong focus on Esri technologies.
