- Epic Care Link | 6+ years | Remote | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Epic Analyst
- Epic Care Link with 6+ years’ experience to support a healthcare client. This is a 4-month contract opportunity.

START DATE: 1/26/2026

HOURS/SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

WORKER TYPE: W2

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

• ~6+ years of experience with Epic Care Link
• ~6+ years of experience in healthcare operations, clinical environments, or healthcare IT settings
• Experience with workflow build, optimization, and maintenance for both Clin Doc and Inpatient modules
• Able to perform advanced build activities in Clin Doc and Inpatient (including Smart Forms, Smart Links, Smart Texts, Smart Sets, and Order Sets)
• Experience building and maintaining clinical documentation templates and optimizing user workflows based on clinician needs.
• Skilled at analyzing existing workflows and proposing/implementing improvements using Epic tools and personalization features
• Proven familiarity with Epic Hyperspace build environment (including master files, registries, profiles, templates, and user roles
• Experience with all aspects of testing lifecycle - unit, system, integrated testing
• Experienced in leading a team
• Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to identify issues, prioritize and problem solve to resolution
• Superior communication and customer service abilities
• Team player with the willingness/ability to work in a collaborative environment

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Epic Care Link Certification
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

WE CONSIDER IT A BONUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE:

• Current Clin Doc and Inpatient Certifications

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role supports Epic Care Link, which is Epic’s portal for external and community providers (non-Epic users) to access patient information, place orders, and collaborate with the health system. Epic Care Link allows access to Epic data without full Epic licenses for:

• Referring providers
• Community physicians
• External clinics
• This role focuses on building and optimizing Clin Doc and Orders workflows that are exposed to external providers through Epic Care Link.
