Cox Automotive is seeking a Sr. Fin Ops Analyst to optimize cloud and technology spend across our leading automotive brands. You will analyze usage and cost data, design cost-allocation models, and partner with engineering, product, and finance teams to drive financial accountability. Responsibilities include building dashboards, forecasting cloud budgets, identifying savings opportunities, and improving tagging and chargeback practices. You'll influence decision-making with data-driven insights and help scale Fin Ops processes in a collaborative, innovative, people-first culture.
Responsibilities
- Analyze cloud and technology spend to identify cost drivers and savings opportunities
- Design and maintain cost-allocation, tagging, and chargeback models across brands and business units
- Build dashboards and reports to communicate usage, cost trends, and KPIs to stakeholders
- Partner with engineering, product, and finance teams to plan, forecast, and manage cloud budgets
- Recommend architectural and purchasing optimizations (e.g., reservations, commitments, rightsizing)
- Establish and refine Fin
- Ops processes, governance, and standards across the organization
- Prepare executive-ready insights and presentations on financial performance and optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost optimization recommendations
- Monitor industry benchmarks and incorporate Fin
- Ops best practices into operations
- Support continuous improvement, automation, and tooling for cloud cost management
