The Water and Wastewater Treatment Operator in Training takes part in the overall operations of drinking water and wastewater treatment facilities and components. WorkSchedule/Location
This is a full‑time position (40 hours/week), scheduled from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, includes weekend shifts and rotating on‑call schedule. This position is based in Cabot, VT and surrounding areas.

Required Qualifications and CertificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years or older. Possession of a valid state driver’s license and a history of responsible driving. Expectation to become a Certified Operator by obtaining a Grade 1 Wastewater License and Grade 2 Water License within two years, supported by training and development resources. Candidates will undergo background screening and motor vehicle record checks as part of the hiring process.
