Job Overview

• Homestead Landscaping is looking for dependable, safety-minded, and hardworking Snow Shovelers/Walkway crew members for the upcoming winter season in the Manchester, Dorset and Stratton areas.
• Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, stairs, entryways, and ramps usings snow blowers, ride-on snowplows, small tractors, shovels, and hand tools.
• Apply de-icing material (salt, sand, or ice melt) to pedestrian pathways.
• Work safely and efficiently in winter weather conditions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Dependability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, on-call, early morning, late night, weekend, and holiday hours when snowstorms hit.
• Experience: Prior experience with snow equipment is preferred, but we are willing to train the right hardworking candidates.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in severe winter weather and perform physical labor (lifting, shoveling, standing for extended periods).
• Communication: Reliable cell phone for storm alerts, scheduling, and app-based tracking.

What We Offer

• Competitive hourly pay starting at $20-$25/hour.
• Snow Appreciation Premium Pay for all weekend and after-hours snow removal, adds an additional $5/hour to your hourly rate and $7.50 for Overtime.
• Overtime & SAPP pay after 8 hours/day during all storms.
