Branch Manager (BM) – Overview

As a Branch Manager, you will lead your team in exceeding customer expectations, nurturing relationships that drive long‑term success. You will spearhead branch performance, sales growth, and an outstanding colleague and customer experience, leveraging inspirational leadership, collaborative partnerships, and sound operational practices to create and sustain a strong customer‑centric culture.
You will act as the branch’s execution and outcomes owner, combining financial acumen with strategic insights to guide decision‑making and deliver results. You will serve as a visible and engaged brand ambassador, connecting with the local community to cultivate new customer relationships and deepen existing ones.
Responsibilities- Spearhead branch performance and sales growth.
- Create and sustain a strong customer‑centric culture.
- Lead, coach, and develop the team to meet individual and collective performance and sales goals.
- Implement coaching plans that inspire personal and branch‑wide goals.
- Communicate business priorities effectively to energize and empower colleagues.
- Serve as the brand ambassador and community liaison.
- Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Leadership experience with proven ability to coach and develop teams.
- Four years of sales management experience in a retail or branch banking environment.
- Successful record of managing objectives in meeting sales goals, deadlines, and branch goals in a profit and loss environment.
- Drive an exceptional customer experience validated through satisfaction surveys.
- Maintain strong partnerships with community & civic organizations.
- Meet and comply with all SAFE Act requirements, including successful background checks and NMLS identification.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in retail banking.
- Talent sourcing & assessment skills.
- Hours per week: 40.
- Work schedule:
Varies with branch needs and may include weekends and evenings.
